Alumni will be matched with current students seeking to learn about career pathways after CEU. Alumni mentors give advice and insights about what it's like to work in their fields and organizations, the skills and experience required, and how to enter their sector. The goal of the program is to help students clarify their career interests by learning from working professionals and to provide alumni an opportunity to give back to the CEU community.
Our call will open for volunteer mentors from September 2026.
If you are interested, please fill out this form by Sunday, 15 November 2026, 11:59 PM CET. If you have any questions, you can reach out to us via AlumniMentorshipProgram@ceuedu.onmicrosoft.com. Please note that not all those who expressed interest will be chosen as a mentor, as selection will depend on the career interests of the mentees.
Once applied, the Career Service team will be in touch to schedule a quick informal interview to learn more about you, your background and why you are interested in becoming a mentor. The matching process takes place over the fall semester and notification on successful matching is announced in December.
Alumni mentors should:
- have at least 5 years of professional work experience
- be able to commit to meet with their mentee for career-focused conversations at least 4 times between January - June 2027 for up to one hour each time via Zoom and/or in person (if available)
- have at least 1-2 years of experience and interest in mentoring young people either professionally or informally (other acceptable forms: coaching, tutoring, teaching, or advising)
